Background

Convened under the 5th International Conference on Financial Technology and Business Analysis (ICFTBA 2026), this symposium focuses on how organizational strategic changes deliver financial gains. Most organizations do not fall short on drafting and producing periodic strategic goals and the associated strategic documents. On the contrary, much thought appears not to be given to clear translation of the strategic agenda for the enhanced sustainability and financial stability of the organizations. Essentially, translating organizational strategic agenda to meaningful, actionable, daily objectives that tangibly engage with the workforce challenges the thinking of the workforce towards having the right mindset, for the purpose of their gaining confident understanding of the organizational goals, and subsequently enabling strategic actions, unlocking value, and ultimately fostering their ability to contribute more effectively to the organization’s strategic agenda.

Goal/Rationale

Leadership development can often involve learned and acquired skills that enable individuals to effectively respond to a range of situations at work including the organization’s strategic goals. This study provides an exposition on how a tailored strategic leadership development course is being used as a vehicle to drive an organization’s strategic agenda and provides valuable insights on how participants enrolled in the course are exposed to the thinking of the organization’s executive office/team and subsequently equipped to measurably contribute to the organization’s enterprise policies, operational plans, and strategic principles/ priorities. This strategic leadership development course is enabling (and developing) colleagues across the different areas (and teams) of the organization on the active implementation of the organization’s strategic agenda (goal) through the use and creation of stimulative environments and practical activities.
